The Natchitoches Lions Club is seeking applicants for the 2010 Natchitoches Lions Club Scholarship to be offered to interested seniors graduating from a Natchitoches Parish high school. Principals at each high school have been forwarded materials to distribute to seniors graduating from Natchitoches Parish High Schools (Natchitoches Central, St. Mary’s, LSMSA, and Lakeview) whom they believe would be qualified for and interested in applying for the scholarship.  They have been asked to make copies of these forms as needed, as we encourage multiple applicants.  All applications received by the Lions Scholarship Committee will be reviewed and all applicants will be notified of the committee’s decision.

The due date for all applications is April 23.  The Natchitoches Lions Club is pleased to support Northwestern State University and the NSU Foundation’s Endowed Scholarship Program and is committed to assisting a local graduate attend Northwestern State University in the fall. The scholarship is a $1,000 award, payable over the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 semesters.

To receive an application, please contact Dr. William Broussard, Lions Scholarship Chair, at 318-357-4295.
