Eddie G. Robinson Museum Opens at Grambling State University

Former Grambling State University Head Coach Eddie Robinson holds the record for being the winningest coach in NCAA Division I history with 408 wins.

GRAMBLING, LA—The Eddie G. Robinson Museum on the campus of Grambling State University officially opened to the public on Thursday, March 25, 2010.  Friends and supporters of Coach Robinson have patiently waited for the day they could revel in the legacy of Coach Robinson, one of the winningest college football coaches of all time. 

“Coach Robinson is a part valuable part of Grambling’s heritage and his legacy lives on in the lives of the countless men and women he touched while here at Grambling” said Interim President Frank G. Pogue.

Earlier this year, the Friends of the Eddie G. Robinson Museum celebrated the grand opening with notable greats such as Brian Kelly, Mike Tomlin, Doug Williams, Everson Walls, Douglas Porter, James Davison, Dub Jones, Willie Brown, Burt Jones, and Andrew Glover.

The Eddie G. Robinson Museum is free and open to the public, Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.  Information is available by contacting the Eddie G. Robinson Museum at (318) 274-2210.
