Danny Hall has announced his candidacy for Natchitoches Parish sheriff in the fall election.
During his campaign announcement, the lifelong resident of Natchitoches Parish said he understands the concerns of families and has a vision to make the parish safer and to help those who need and deserve help.
“I will serve the people of Natchitoches Parish with integrity and honesty. Being sheriff is a full-time job, and I intend to be a full-time sheriff for Natchitoches Parish. I will work harder, smarter and spend less of your money to prevent and solve crime in Natchitoches,” Hall said in a news release.
The primary election is Oct. 22. A runoff, if necessary would be Nov. 19.
Hall has more than 27 years of law enforcement experience and is currently employed as the chief investigator with the Natchitoches Parish District Attorney’s Office.
He said, “As sheriff, I will not give quarter or show mercy to those who push and sell drugs in this parish. … If I only accomplish one thing as your next sheriff, I’d like it to be this: provide the leadership to build a new drug rehab facility right here in Natchitoches Parish. This will offer hope and help to those who need it,”
